TL-37 Tractor (x2)
Fiat SPA TL-37 Artillery Tractor
The Fiat SPA TL-37 artillery tractor was an innovative design produced for the Italian army during WWII.
One of the main characteristics of the design was the system of all-wheel steering.
"All wheel" steering reduced the length of the vehicle and allowed for a much tighter turning circle. This ability proved very useful because of the mountainous nature of large parts of Italy.
The TL-37 was powered by an SPA 18TL inline 4 cylinder water-cooled engine. It generated 57 horsepower at 2000 RPM. It had a 5-speed transmission.
Its large tyres could be either pneumatic or solid rubber.
Dimensions: Length 4.25m; Width 1.83m; Height 2.15m
