Includes 13 metal figures - two 7.5cm IG37 guns with crew, one Command Rifle team and one Observer Rifle team, two plastic medium bases and two small bases.
The Siemens Company in Berlin formed the best trained and most well-equipped Volksturm battalion to take part in the battle. It was led by WWI veteran officers and equipped with a good selection of weapons, even including infantry guns to help defend Berlin from the coming Red Army assault.
Local Militia
Volkssturm Platoons do not use the German Stormtroopers, Mission Tactics, or Enjoy the War special rules. Instead, a Volkssturm Platoon always begins the game on the table. Ignore all Volkssturm Platoons in your force when determining how many platoons to be held in Reserve. In addition, a Volkssturm Platoon always begins the game in Prepared Positions.

Manning a gun in the thick of battle is a hazardous job. To offset the increased vulnerability of gun crews to enemy fire, many guns have a bulletproof gun shield.
Gun Shields provide your Gun teams with Bulletproof Cover from shots fired from in front of a line drawn across the front of the team’s base. Shots fired from behind this line hit the unprotected crew behind the shield.
Gun Shields do not provide cover to teams moving At the Double, nor from artillery bombardments.
