OQF 18pdr Gun

The Ordnance Quick Firing 18-pounder (84mm) gun was the standard field piece and the backbone of the Royal Artillery during WW1.
It fires a heavier shell than similar caliber guns, and is accurate, reliable, and has good range.
Some British Territorial Artillery Units serving in the BEF got the newer 18/25 pdr field gun, which mounted the 25 pdr gun on the 18 pdr gun carriage, whilst others continued to use the older 18-pounder
