Cruel Seas: German Siebel Ferry SF40 Schwere
(785102017)
This pack is for one Siebel Ferry SF40 Schwere (heavy) model.
Dubbed the Kleine fähre (small ferry) the Siebel ferry would prove it's self a highly useful and adaptable vessel.
The Luftwaffe continue producing Siebel ferries under its own Special Ferry Command (Fähre-Sonderkommando). Configured to serve a variety of special purposes, from minelaying to convoy escort, most would see action transporting troops, vehicles and supplies.
The Luftwaffe employed two basic versions, the SF40 Schwere (heavy) and SF40 Leichte (light). The armament of the heavy version was impressive and featured up to four 8.8 cm Flak 36 and two 2 cm/65 C38.
Please note that no physical ship card will be included with this model however rules can be downloaded from the link below with a free ship card to be added at a later date.
